Information about Examinations

Examinations are not compulsory. If however Miss Miranda has agreed to enter your child for an examination, your attention will be drawn to the following informations:

• If the form is not returned by the closing date, we will not enter the pupil.
• Receipt of this form will be acknowledged by the issue of your examination pack. Which will include C.D. and examination order sheet
• The 6 coaching classes will be held on Saturdays, and are compulsory.  If not attended you will be withdrawn from the examination.
• The coaching fees are charged according to the size of the class, Payment must be received before coaching commends ~ please see notice board for prices.
• The coaching classes are payable in block and are not deductible if your child does not attend the classes.
• If your child does not reach the required standard for the examination for what ever reason, the principal will withdraw the child from the examination.

• Parents are required to watch 5 of the coaching classes as this aids home practice, confidence building and self esteem. There will be no watching of the mock exam class.

        Please do not bring very young children to watch the coaching classes.

• If you have Saturday commitments that you like taken into consideration when drafting the coaching timetable, please put them in writing on the form opposite. We cannot guarantee to accommodate all requests, but we will try. If requests are not detailed on the exam form opposite, they will not be considered.
• If you have any dates that you are unavailable for examination, please put these opposite.
• Both Dance Societies will not guarantee the School’s preferred dates. The final exam date will be dependant on the availability of an examiner.
• Refunds of the examination fee will only be applied for in the case of the Dance Societies not fulfilling the examination days.
