Rules and Regulations

Take a look at our Rules and Regulations
We are responsible for your child during lesson time only. We require written permission for those pupils under 18 years of age, wishing to leave the premises between classes.

If your child becomes ill during a class, the teacher will contact you or the emergency contacts named on your registration form and ask for your child to be collected. Your child should not be bought to class if showing symptoms or suffering from any communicable diseases. Your child should not return to class until infection has cleared.

If your bank returns any payment unpaid or cancelled by yourself a fee of £15.00 will be charged to cover our costs.
If at any time you have a query regarding your child or the dance school, please talk to the class teacher or principal who will be happy to help.

Fees are payable by the date quoted on your invoice. Late payments will incur a £5 charge.

One term’s notice is to be given in writing before leaving the dance school.

In the event of the school having to cancel lessons due to teacher sickness, the classes will be made up at a later date.

If there is a bad weather warning in place and you are in doubt about classes taking place. Please check the website for information. In such cases the school will not reimburse or replace classes.

It is the principal’s decision as to whether pupils are ready to be entered for an examination and their decision is final. Those who do not attend the compulsory six coaching classes, or who do not reach the required level, will be withdrawn from the examination session.

All parents/guardians understand that to teach and demonstrate dance effectively there will be an appropriate level of physical contact between a teacher and their pupils.

During watching week parents/guardians are permitted to take photography and video footage. Only images of your own child are permitted to be placed on social networking sites. Before any school publicity photographs or media coverage can be taken, a release form must be signed.
